Nothing unites Indians like the love for cricket.

And even someone as famous as best-selling author Amish Tripathi is not immune to the thrill of meeting his favourite cricketers.

Amish, best-known for his Shiva trilogy, was invited to Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's Mumbai reception, where he did exactly what every other cricket fan boy in the country would do.

He walked up to some of his favourite cricketers and requested a selfie.

He shared his photograph with Ravichandran Ashwin and Cheteshwar Pujara on social media, saying, 'Delighted to meet two cricketers I'm a fan of, at the wedding reception of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. @ashwinravi99 @cheteshwar1.'

Needless to say, Amish was not fanboying alone.

Film-maker Anurag Kashyap posted a picture with cricketing legends Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly: Check out the photos here.
