Take the case of this handsfree sari worn by Vidya, above. A handwoven silk sari, it features a shibori sleeve designed to keep the hands free.

Handcrafted by Studio Medium, it has been created by locally trained craftswomen and naturally dyed.

Vidya styled the sari with a matching blouse and a red bindi.

During a preview of Thappad, Dia wore the same sari but in a different colour.

Sporting a green sari with a shibori sleeve, she topped off the look with a sleeveless green blouse.

She added a contrasting element to the green silhouette with metallic jewellery.
