Vaishali Shadangule is the first Indian designer to showcase her collection at the Paris Haute Couture Week 2021.

Lycee Victor Duruy, a high school in Paris, served as the perfect backdrop for the collection titled Breath; Shwas.

'It fills my heart with joy to take pride in Indian heritage on an international platform,' Vaishali wrote as she shared glimpses of her Fall-Winter 2021 collection.

IMAGE: Inspired by nature, she used traditional Indian weaves to create modern silhouettes.

IMAGE: Her collection was an ode to India's heritage with fabrics sourced from different states across the country.

IMAGE: Vaishali wanted to put the Indian weave on the highest platform in its purest form and she did succeed in doing that.
