10. Red Square, Moscow

It's one of the most important landmarks in Moscow. And its origin dates back to the late 15th Century.
St. Basil's Cathedral is housed in this very square, along with the State Historical Museum.
Around the 20th Century the Red Square was famous for the military parades that took place there.
9. Madison Square Garden, New York

It is touted as the 'World's Most Famous Arena'. It was built on the 8th Avenue, between 31st and 33rd Streets in NYC in 1968.
Built over a railway station, it hosts around 320 events in a year including hockey and basketball tournaments, along with music concerts.
John Lennon, Elvis Presley and Elton John have performed here.
8. Santa Monica Pier, California

Every photographer's delight, this pier is located at the foot of Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica, California.
Did you know that the Santa Monica Pier is a 100-year-old landmark?
It is the fun place to head to with its video arcade, pubs, restaurants, and other family-friendly activities.
This landmark has featured in several movies including Titanic and Iron Man.
The La Monica Ballroom which is situated on the pier was once upon a time the largest ballroom in America and had the capacity to hold over 10, 000 dancers! Isn't that amazing?
7. Dodger Stadium, California

It's a baseball park located in a neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
This stadium has hosted many non-baseball events too!
The most popular being a Beatles concert in 1966 -- which was the first rock concert to be held there. Elton John too performed two shows at the stadium.
Michael Jackson and pop star Madonna have also performed here.
6. Museum de Louvre, Paris

Remember Robert Langdon visiting the Louvre Museum in the movie The Da Vinci Code?
Step into the museum, and you'll feel as though you're transported to an era long forgotten.
Right in the centre of museum stands a glass pyramid –- just like the one in The Da Vinci Code.
The museum has many paintings, but the best of the lot is Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.
Take a closer look at Mona Lisa's painting. But be prepared to be surrounded by a swarm of tourist struggling to get a picture of the painting.
5. Walt Disney, Florida

Florida features in New York Times' '52 Places to go in 2015'.
It's perfect for children of all ages.
It has four theme parks, five golf courses and two water parks. We're definite you'll not be able to cover the entire park in a day.
But this is the theme park where adults will be spoilt for choice.
It's the perfect place to visit during Christmas. With a Magical Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, fireworks, rock-n-roller coaster, and plenty of attractions, Walt Disney is the place to be at.
4. Eiffel Tower, Paris

It was built about 126 years ago and is one of the most romantic places to visit in Paris till date.
The Eiffel Tower indeed is a beautiful structure. This wrought iron structure is named after engineer, Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower.
While you are there, it is a must to take the elevator to the top of the tower and take a selfie there, with the city of Paris in the background. You can choose to take the stairs too, but be prepared as there are 1,665 steps to climb!
At night, during certain hours the tower is illuminated and it is a spectacle to watch the illumination.
Below the tower, you can treat yourself to delicious waffles, and also pick up a miniature of the Eiffel Tower for a small sum.
Did you know that the Eiffel Tower has over seven million visitors on a yearly basis, according to a report published?
3. Central Park, New York

Wondering if it is the same place that the Friends' gang used to frequent.
No, that's Central Perk!!
Central Park is this huge green urban park situated in middle-upper Manhattan in NYC.
This is the place in NYC that's most frequented by people who want to be close to nature.
The best way to see the park is on a bicycle in the early hours of the day.
2. Times Square, New York

This place has probably made it to every tourist's list in the last decade.
It is NYC's most-popular gathering spot. It has plenty of trendy restaurants, cafes and bars situated close-by!
And most importantly it is the place to go to for Broadway shows.
If you are heading to Times Square any time soon, carry a map along -- it will come handy as you make your way through the chaos.
1. Disneyland, California

Topping the list is this lovely theme park -- it was the one and only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.
It has been the biggest draw for tourists visiting California.
A visit to the park takes you down memory lane, to your good old childhood days. Roller coasters, thrilling rides, candy floss and cartoon characters will surely make your day.
On social media it has been touted as the 'Happiest Place'!
