Situated on the banks of Hooghly river, the Victoria Memorial is a beautiful landmark in Kolkata, West Bengal.

The memorial features a lavish garden.

The grand memorial from the outside.

The spiral staircase inside the museum.

The marble structure features 25 galleries, a huge collection of books and works of art.

A statue of Queen Victoria is placed inside the memorial.

The museum is an architectural marvel.

Built in marble, the building features dome shaped designs, tall pillars and corner towers.

The museum is open for visitors between 10 am and 6 pm on all days, except Mondays and national holidays.

The memorial looks breathtaking even in the night.
