Kerala is one of the largest producers of fish in the country. The coastal state is home to lakhs of fishermen and women who contribute to the economy.

Thanks to its picturesque locales, Kerala is rightly known as God's own country.

There are lush tea and spice gardens.

The backwaters add to the beauty of the state. 

The rich biodiversity is worth an experience.

You'll meet interesting people along the way.

The view from the hills and mountains is simply breathtaking.

The plunging waterfalls, pristine lakes and rivers will fill you will wanderlust.

When you are here, do spend some time understanding the art form of Kathakali. The artistes wear colourful face makeup and elaborate costume to narrate a story, usually from Hindu mythology, through music and dance.

If you are lucky, you may get to see elephants playing, eating or entertaining people in the temple premises and in some homes as well.
