Did you know the world's tallest Durga this year is in Assam?

"Celebration of Durga Puja at Kolkata," Debmalya Mazumder captioned this pic.

Here's Sougata Basu Thakur's pic of the Durga Puja celebration of Malkhanagar Sammilanee, Kolkata.

"100 years of heritage which started in Bikrampur, Dhaka (now in Bangladesh), still being continued in Kolkata," he shared. "The most unique features of this puja is the position of Ganesh and Kartik which is exactly opposite to that of normal tradition."
