We had asked you, dear readers, to share pictures from your travels to Kashmir.
Rediff reader Jagruti Joshi sent us these photographs.

Jagruti Joshi travelled to Kashmir in June 2019.

Along with her family, she visited Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Ladakh border and Pahalgam.

She says: "Kashmir is paradise on Earth. The entire state is filled with scenic views. But Betaab valley in Pahalgam is one of the best places to visit."

"The beautiful landscapes around Lidder river that runs through the valley will take your breath away.

"At Gulmarg, which is a skiing destination you will see maximum snow."

Jagruti had the opportunity to experience some Kashmiri traditions.

Jagruti and her husband happily posed in these colourful embroidered costumes and clicked a picture.

When they visited the valley, the ice was mostly melting away.

They stayed in one of these wooden tree houses.

The cabin was neatly tucked away in the woods.

They also rode the mandatory shikhara.
