Choosing dense floral threadwork over pastels
The Indian wedding season comes during spring, which is also the time when buds become flowers and emanate fragrance and charm.
So there is a high possibility that floral embroidery and embellishments will be trending soon.
In all likelihood, these elaborate floral threadwork patterns will be done over soft pastel silhouettes.
Pastels with embossed surfaces
The trend favours monochromatic embellishments over pastel dyed bridal garments.
The embossed designs may be chequered, abstract or geometric.
Reds and maroons to be the shades of choice
In 2021, traditional reds and maroons will be preferred over other dark colour palettes.
Brides will team these colours with detailed floral, geometric or temple patterns.
