As we get ready to celebrate Xmas and the New Year, skilled (and not-so-skilled) cooks everywhere are preparing to whip up a frenzy of treats for family and friends.
This year, though, why not do it Indian-style? We've all had our fair share of plum pudding, stuffed roast turkey and cookies.
So maybe it's time to get cooking baath cake, kalkals, kokads, gujjias and other traditional fare associated with desi festivities. And share the recipes while you're at it.
Send us your favourite Indian Xmas recipe.
Write in to us at getahead@rediff.co.in with your name, hometown and any interesting details about the origin of the recipe, along with a photograph if possible. We'll publish the best preparations right here on rediff.com and in India Abroad.
