The biggest lesson I learnt in life is to help those who help themselves. What I mean here is to help those who deserve your help.

When you help someone in need, that person should be really in need.

Sometimes people take you for granted. You help them once, twice, thrice and then it becomes a habit for them.

You, in turn, end up getting hurt when the same gesture is not returned. I don't mean that the people you help, should help you back.

At least when you help someone, you hope that the person help others too. I tried to make a few people understand this, but in vain.

So here comes the trick after a lot of lessons which I learnt... I have decided to help those who are in need, those who deserve my help and are mostly unknown to me.

Here unknown means anyone, it maybe a person sitting by the road asking for help or someone who is trying to sell something.

I help orphans. When I started doing more and more for them, I felt nice and there were no regrets.

A small help to any unknown person like directing someone to some place, taking someone to hospital, giving a lift to aged women while returning home from work, makes a huge difference in their life.

Once a lady forced me to take a few vegetables from her bag as a thank you gesture. I smiled and refused her offer. She blessed me and that made my day.
