As HMT, one of India's biggest watchmaking company, gets set to down its shutters, we are asking you, our dear readers to share photographs of your HMT watches.

Suvrangshu Kumar Seal was gifted this HMT Surya by his father-in-law during his marriage in 1992.
It is, he says, "still in dazzling condition and I use it with pride."
Anil Khanwalkar bought this HMT Janata watch in 1971 from the HMT factory retail outlet in Bangalore.
Dhruv Raychowdhury took out his father's HMT Pilot from the storage for us:
"He passed away in 2005. Now it's just lying idle in my cupboard as I don't use it," Raychowdhury writes.
And here's an impressive collection of HMT watches by Prashant Pandey.
Reader Pradeep Pandey who shared the photograph says, "The collection started from my father's HMT watch which fascinated him and that became his hobby."
Ramkishore S also shared fond memories attached to this HMT Janata Deluxe:
"(This is) my first watch, bought in 1988 when I was receiving interview calls from management schools.
"I sold my MBA preparation material for Rs 300 (it had cost me Rs 825) and bought this watch from the CSD Canteen for Rs 210.
"I spent the remaining 90 rupees on a new full sleeved shirt to wear for the interviews." :-)
Shruti M says there's no match for this lovely HMT watch. And we couldn't agree more!
This HMT Ajeet model was a gift from Sunil Khedkar's parents to him on March 6, 1976.
"It was bought from CDS Amla (MP) for Rs 294.
"Ever since, it has been with me and the only watch that I use till date and witnessed all my important milestones for last 38 years," he says.

These HMT Avivash and Quartz, were both gifted to Amod Gidh by his father on his outstanding performance in Class 8 and BSc Level I.
Gidh continues to use both these watches.
Kirteekumar Gore thanks his sister for this watch that was gifted to him in 1986 when he successfully passed the SSC examination.
The other watch, he says is his wife's. "Her father gifted it to her on her birthday in 1988."
We wind up with this vintage HMT Gautam model which Tanmay Saxena says he picked up from a watchmaker sitting under a tree outside a bus stand on his last trip to India.
He says, "wearing it today when this post starts is a lovely coincidence."
