The edible Ganesha created by 20 chefs will be immersed in milk and distributed as milkshake to underprivileged children.
Ludhiana based restaurateur Harjinder Singh Kukreja has been preparing edible Ganpati idols for three years now.
This year, with the help of 20 chefs, he took his eco-friendly Ganesha to the next level.
Over a span of 10 days, Harjinder created a Ganesha made from over 100 kg of Belgian chocolate.
'This is our 4th consecutive year of the Chocolate Ganesha! It took a team of 20 chefs, 10 days and 100+ Kgs Belgian Chocolate to make this eco-friendly Ganesha,' Harjinder tweeted along with a picture of his latest Ganesha.
The ornaments were created using an edible colour specially imported from Italy.
But what makes it really special is how the idol will be immersed in milk and distributed among kids to serve a larger purpose.
"Instead of a regular immersion Ganesha will be immersed in a vessel of milk. It will be then distributed as chocolate milkshake among underprivileged children," Harjinder infomed in his tweet.
