'Massakali' beauty Sonam Kapoor made a small but strange appearance at the Wills India Lifestyle Fashion Week when she opted to sit in the front row instead of walking down the ramp.
Sonam, who sat for Ankita and Anjana Bhargava's collection 'Walk With Me', was also named as the new face of Spice Mobile, replacing Bollywood's queen of endorsements, Katrina Kaif after the show.
"I am happy to be here but I won't be walking the ramp. However, I might come here again to watch some more shows," Sonam, who opted for a formal look wearing trousers teaming it up with a blazer, told reporters.
Designer duo Ankita and Anjana were happy that the 24-year-old actress showed up at their show and appreciated their collection. "We were really happy that she came as a celebrity guest for our show that itself is a very important step for us. If you are confident, you don't need a showstopper but its a personal choice," Ankita and Anjana were quoted as saying.
The collection for the modern woman had colours like wine, berry purple, pale green, blue silver and reflected graphic, casual and young couture. Sonam will soon be seen onscreen in Anees Bazmee's film Thank You with Akshay Kumar and Dharma Productions' I Hate Love Stories with Imran Khan.
