Whether Karwa Chauth is celebrated in your home or not, here are two traditional sweet preparations you can enjoy on the occasion!
Basundi

~ Ingredients:
1 tin Milkmaid condensed milk
1/4 litre milk
7-8 cashew nuts
7-8 raisins (kishmish)
2 tbsp sugar

Stir fry the cashew nuts and raisins in the ghee.
Next, mix the milk, sugar and stir-fried dry fruit together and bring to a boil.
Once the milk starts boiling, pour the condensed milk slowly in while stirring continuously. Continue to stir for 15 minutes.
Let the mixture set. The basundi is now ready to serve.
