Though models Vishakha Bharadwaj and Tina Pahuja may not meet their brothers for Raksha Bandhan this year, they have fun memories to share with Rajesh Karkera/Rediff.com.

“My mother has already arranged for a rakhi to reach my brother, Akash,” says Vishakha Bharadwaj (above), as she rushes through the hurly-burly of the Lakme Fashion Week. “He is younger than me and lives in Delhi.”

They fought like cats and dogs when they were little, she says.

“I used to actually bash him up,” she grins.

A fashionista even then, her little brother was her willy-nilly model. “I used to put make-up on him.”

At one time, she recalls, “I put nail polish on his eyelid.” It earned her a severe scolding from her Dadi (grandmother).

But it wasn’t really her fault, she says. “I was just 5 years old.”

Tina Pahuja, on the other hand, is bullied by her brother, she confesses with a smile.

Watch her share her Rakhi memories in the video below.
