Onam, the 10-day long harvest festival in Kerala, ends Wednesday, September 3.

On Thiruvonam, celebrated on Monday, August 31, families in Kerala get together to create elaborate pookalam and the Onasadhya (the traditional feast).

While the celebrations this year are toned down due to the pandemic, you can always make the most of what you can.

Take a cue from these celebrities to see how you can amp up your festive look.

Switch to handloom

Experiment with the blouse

Give it a contemporary twist

Don't forget the accessories
