The dapper looking Gurmeet Choudhary, who will soon be seen in J P Dutta’s Paltan, walked the ramp for designer Soumodeep Dutta.
Gurmeet shot to fame as a television actor for his roles in serials like Ramayan, Geet -- Hui Sabse Parayi and Punar Vivah.
After a couple of supporting roles, he got his big Bollywood breakthrough with Khamoshiyan, produced by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt under their label, Vishesh Films.
Soumodeep and his showstopper take a bow.
Titled The Circles of Wisdom, Soumodeep’s collection is inspired by the analogies of life and the lotus in Buddhism.
The designer’s deft use of handlooms from Odisha and Bengal featuring Ikat motifs and Kantha embroidery give the collection an earthy yet festive appeal.
Take a look.
