IMAGE: The collection -- inspired by Shakuntala's love for King Dushyanta -- used handcrafted thread work beautifully.

IMAGE: Fabrics like merino wool, silks and handwoven chanderis were used to spin magic into contemporary designs and colours.

IMAGE: The story of Shakuntala's timeless love was brought alive through the marriage of ancient Indian craft and modern silhouettes.

IMAGE: The matching accessories with intricate detailing did perfect justice to the outfits.
As is now expected of her, Vaishali beautifully blended art, music and tradition; this year, artistes Merlin D’Souza and Avadhoot Phadke supported the show on the keytar and bansuri respectively.

IMAGE: Modern skirts and gowns like these with structured detailing looked WOW!

IMAGE: There were gorgeous options in coconut white as well.
