Even as they focused on creating their own niche in the luxury space, designers Mia Morikawa and Shani Himanshu stayed true to their roots by creating employment for farmers, weavers, vegetable dyers and block printers.
They are proud of the fact that 11.11/eleven eleven only uses natural dyes, sourced from bark, leaves, petals, roots, berries, wood, fungi and lichen.
Their fun collection at Lakme took inspiration from the earth and the sky.
