Ridhi Mehra's collection, Reflections, features fun, flirty silhouettes for the modern-day bride.
The designer used an interesting play of mirror work, along with bright colours and striking patterns to create some stunning looks.
In an interview with Anita Aikara/Rediff.com, Ridhi discusses her collection, doing a fashion show amid a pandemic and suggests fun ideas for the new-age bride.
"This was one-of-a-kind experience," reveals the designer commenting about Lakme Fashion Week's digital edition.
"Having to work from home, coping with the pandemic on the outside, arranging for the team to coordinate -- everything brought things into perspective."
Thanking her team for their support and cooperation during these tough times, she said, "I am immensely grateful to my team.
"This collection was realised because they made it a seamless experience with safety kept at priority."
According to the designer, the colours that need to be on every bride's radar this season are vibrant and bright reds, pinks and yellows.
It's also time for brides to say hello to mellow and minimalist pastels like powder blue and blush pink.
Oh, and if one is in the mood for an elegant and chic touch, then the go-to colours are ivory and emerald.
Keeping her collection in mind, Ridhi also suggested fun ways to style a belt.
"You can style it with your sari or recreate the classic hourglass look with drapes," she pointed out.
"One can also work them as a waist-cincher on your dresses."
If you are into traditional looks, then here is a fashion tip for you.
"Do your lehenga right with a belt or pull off a boho-chic look with kurti-belt combo," she suggests.
