The Bollywood actress closed the show for Anavila Misra on Day Two of Lakme Fashion Week.
Women, Anavila Misra once said in an interview, think they need to be 'proper' in a sari.
The Mumbai-based designer's sole purpose has been to break that mould and present the garment as something that can be worn with ease.
And so, it wasn't surprising, to see that her latest line featured saris that were light, easygoing and sans any embellishments.
The colours were mostly muted occasionally contrasted with a bright yellow here, a beautiful green there.
But saris weren't the only garments that were part of Misra's line. This loose-fitting kurta paired with a pair of cotton trousers caught our eye.
And we couldn't take our eyes of this pair of shorts.
Anavila Misra takes a bow at the end of the show with her showstopper, Dia Mirza.
