What: Private carrier Air Sahara has cancelled all its flights between Mumbai and Chennai till December 5 due to 'operational reasons'.
"The airline has stopped flight operations since yesterday. It also stopped issuing tickets in Mumbai-Chennai route", said Airport sources, adding that there were some operational problems in the route.
No senior officials of the airline was available for a comment.
Passengers who booked tickets have been asked to board either Indian Airlines or Jet Airways aircraft, for which the airline had already made arrangements, the sources said.
Air Sahara operates four daily direct flights in Mumbai-Chennai route.
