What: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will offer seven certificate courses spanning six months, through the Distance Education Mode, from July.

Programme list

The following courses will be offered by the Directorate of Open and Distance Learning:

• Cotton and maize hybrid seed production
• Sugarcane production technology
• Tropical vegetable seed production
• Nursery techniques and propagation of horticultural plants
• Mushroom production
• Wasteland development
• Preparatiion of homemade and processed products.

Are you eligible?

~ You must have completed your Class VI education.

~ You could be a farmer or an enterpreneur.

~ You could be planning to start a small scale industry.

Programme details

~ The medium of instruction is Tamil.

~ The courses are designed to offer an opportunity to those interested in improving technical knowledge on agricultural and allied sciences.
