Are you eligible?

~ You must have passed Class XII from the Central/ State Board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.

~ You must have obtained a minimum overall aggregate of 80 percent in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and at least 60 percent in each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Selection method

~ You will be selected through a computer-based online test referred to as the BITS Admission Test or BITSAT.

BITSAT 2007

~ It is a three hour test with only objective type questions.

~ It will be conducted between May 7 and June 10.

Important dates

~ Please send your postal request for application form before 20.

~ Please send in your completed application form before January 31.

~ If you are unable to apply online, obtain the application form via post, by sending a request on plain paper mentioning your name, gender and postal address.

~ Your request must be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs 900 (Rs 500 for women candidates) drawn in favour of Birla Institute of Technology & Science, payable at State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, Pilani (Code: 10398) or UCO Bank, Vidya Vihar, Pilani (Code: 0150) or State Bank of India, Zuari Nagar, Goa (code: 1976).
