Summit objectives
~ According to Sethuramon, chairman of Yi Summit 2005, the summit will act as a platform for open interaction, sharing of inspirational stories and both formal and informal networking.
~ The summit will comprise sessions on social issues, education, unemployment, technology, leadership and management by eminent speakers from industry, government, sports, the armed forces, media and entertainment and non-government organisations.

About Yi
~ Launched in December 2002, Yi is a movement of young Indian professionals comprising progressive Indians below the age of 40 years from various walks of life.
~ Yi operates through a structure comprising the Governing Council, a national policy body responsible for devising strategy. Yi has eight chapters in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Cochin.
~ It has a combined membership of around 300 young people.
~ Yi plans to open around six chapters in India as well as two international chapters this year.
