Scholarships for B Tech programmes

What: SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, invites applications for the SRM Founder's Scholarships 2006-07 for its B Tech Programmes.

Scholarship details

~ The scholarship includes:

• 100 percent waiver of tuition and other fee
• 100 percent waiver hostel and mess fee
• A monthly stipend of Rs 1,000 towards books etc
• B Tech Programme of your choice

Are you eligible?

For Academic Achievement Scholarships – State Board
(Code: SRM-MERIT-SB-2006-07)

~ Candidates within the top 50 ranks in any state of India in class XII.

For Academic Achievement Scholarships – CBSE
(Code: SRM-MERIT-CBSE-2006-07)

~ Candidates with a minimum overall aggregate of 90 percent in class XII.

For Sports and Extra–curricular Achievement Scholarships
(Code: SRM-Sports- 2006-07)

~ Candidates with outstanding sports record at the state/ national level.

For Scholarships for Economically Challenged
(Code: SRM-EC-2006-07)

~ Candidates with a minimum overall aggregate of 80 percent in class XII who are academically ambitious but financially deprived.

~ Enclose the following with your application form:

• Proof of rank and class XII mark sheet in case of state board.
• Class XII mark sheet in case of CBSE.
• Complete details and proof in case of sports.
• Complete write up on family position, father and mother's occupation with contact address and telephone in case of economically challenged.
