What: The Indira Gandhi National Open University, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai, invites applications for a admission to its Diploma in Nautical Science Programme leading to a BSc in Nautical Science.
The programme provides vocationally oriented training, which combines the knowledge of marine subjects, practical applications of theory and correct attitude.
Are you eligible?
~ You must have completed Class XII with a minimum overall aggregate of 55 percent in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and 50 percent in English.
~ You could have a bachelor's degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Electronics, with Physics in at least one year of the BSc programme, with a minimum overall aggregate of 55 percent.
~ You could be a BE/ BTech from a recognised institute.
Selection method
~ You will be shortlisted on the basis of your performance in the written test.
~ Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a group discussion followed by a personal interview.
