IIT announces alumni meet for 2008

What: IIT alumni's Gloabl Conference -- PanIIT 2008 -- has been organised for December 19-21, 2008. The three-day event will be held at the IIT Madras campus and aims to bring together IIT alumni from across the world to discuss and debate ideas, issues and find solutions to create a better India.

This year, speakers include:

• Finance minister P Chidambaram
• LN Mittal (founder of Mittal Steel)
• Carlos Ghosn (co-chairman, president and CEO of Nissan)
• Bob McDonald (COO, Procter & Gamble)
• Professor CK Prahalad (University of Michigan Ross School of Business)
• Stephen Cohen (senior fellow in foreign policy studies at the Brookings Institution)
