What: The K C Mahindra Trust invites applications for scholarships for post-graduate programmes abroad in engineering, natural sciences, humanities, medicine, business management, military, naval and aviation sciences.
Scholarship details
~The maximum amount of scholarship will be Rs 95,000.
Are you eligible?
~ You must possess a first class in a degree course or an equivalent diploma from a recognised Indian university.
~ You must have secured admission or have applied for admission in a reputable foreign university for courses commencing from September but not later than February 2007.
~ If you are studying in the final year of your degree or diploma course, you can apply provided you produce your final year certificate before the end of June.
~ You can also apply if you are a government or quasi-government officer with a creditable academic record, going abroad for specialised qualifications.
Important dates
~ You must send the request for the application form on or before February 28.
~ You must return the completed application form, together with necessary enclosures, to the Trust Office before March 31.
~ If shortlisted, your final interview will take place in July.
~ You will be informed about the date of the interview during the third week of May.
How to apply
~You must address your application to the 'Executive Secretary'.
~ Enclose a self-addressed envelope measuring 25 cm by 18 cm with a Rs 10 postage stamp.
