UK Scholarship for enterprising young Goans

What: The British Council in India invites young enterprising Goan Indian men and women to apply for the Goa Education Trust (GET) and De Souza Trust Goa Scholarship for the academic year beginning September 2010.

Details

The application form is to be completed online on www.britishcouncil.org.in/scholarships and submitted by May 31, 2010.

Eligibility

Interested applicants should:

• Be Indian citizens with a valid Indian passport and residing in India at the time of applying for the scholarship
• Be residents in Goa or born of Goan parents
• Be not more than 30 years old at the time of applying for the scholarship
• Be graduates and have excellent academic track record and extra curricular achievement
• Have confirmed admission for any academic course of study in the UK for up to one year
