What: The Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT) invites applications for the 2010-2011 academic year for the following full-time degree programmes.
BTech (Food process engineering):
Eligibility: Pass +2 or equivalent examination with major subjects mathematics, physics and chemistry with 50 per cent marks.
MTech (Food process engineering)
Eligibility: Should have passed a four year BE / BTech degree with minimum 60 per cent marks in any of the following disciplines of food process engineering, agricultural process engineering, post harvest technology and food technology.
PhD (Food process engineering)
Eligibility: Should have passed a four years bachelor's degree and two years ME / MTech minimum 60 per cent marks in any of the following disciplines of food process engineering, agricultural process engineering, post harvest technology and food technology.
IICPT Entrance Examination
An entrance examination will be conducted in select cities across the nation for BTech (FPE admission). The date of examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates
Applications can be obtained from IICPT office from May 12, 2010 during all working days between 9:30 am and 5 pm by paying Rs 500/- in cash / DD in favour of 'Director, IICPT' payable at Thanjavur.
