What: The Sonal Holland Wine Academy, an approved programme provider for WSET courses in India, will be conducting the WSET Foundation level in Mumbai for anyone wishing to start their wine education in a structured and concise way.
About the course
The WSET Foundation level course is an introductory course to the finer aspect of wine. For employers in the wine industry, this course equips employees to apply the knowledge in the business of hospitality, marketing, sales and retail of wine.
The course synopsis comprises learning about types and styles of wine, tasting and describing wine like a professional, wine service and storage, food and wine matching, few popular grape varieties and a section on social and responsible drinking. A minimum of 6 wines will be tasted as part of the course.
All students must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
