What: The British Council IELTS Scholarship Award for Indian students planning to study at universities overseas has been launched. The British Council will select eight students from India, each of whom will receive an award of Rs 3,00,000 towards the cost of tuition fees.
Award winners will begin a full time post graduate programme at any overseas university which uses IELTS as a part of its admission requirements and as a reliable measure of English language proficiency.
