What: The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) invites applications on prescribed form for admission to the following courses for the academic year 2010-11.
BSc in Nursing (4 years)
Minimum qualification for admission:
(i) Higher secondary school certificate examination (12-year course) OR
(ii) Senior school certificate examination, pre-degree examination (10+2) OR
(iii) An equivalent with 12 years of schooling from a recognised board or university
(With physics, chemistry, biology and English with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate)
BSc in Radiography (3 years)
Minimum qualification for admission:
(i) Pre-university course OR
(ii) Job-oriented diploma course from a recognised board with diagnostic radiography as vocational subject or equivalent OR
(iii) An equivalent with 12 years of schooling from a recognised board
(With physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology and English)
BSc in Anaesthesia Technology (3 years)
Minimum qualification for admission:
Pass in two-year pre-university course examination or equivalent with a science group having secured an aggregate of 50 per cent in science subjects.
Guidelines:
Candidates should bring the results of their qualifying examination as on the date of entrance test ie, June 27, 2010.
