In the eyes of the world, Rupert Murdoch is a villain. And while he was being quizzed by British parliamentarians at the House of Commons over the phone-hacking scandal on July 19, a social activist-comedian barged in and endeavoured to serve the 80-year-old media baron with a shaving foam pie in the face.
Unfortunately for the intruder, Jonnie Marbles, Murdoch's third wife Wendi lunged from her seat behind the octogenarian and with a sharp slap, splattered him with his own mischievous weapon.
While the disruption of the hearing has been making headlines, we want to ask all the ladies out there -- what would your reaction be in such a situation?
Have you ever played rescuer for a change when your partner has been attacked verbally, physically or otherwise?
Tell us about your experience -- write in to getahead@rediff.co.in (subject line: 'I Came to the Rescue') along with a photograph of you and your partner, if possible and we'll publish the best entries right here.
