Sarah Tyau is an inspiration to her 2 lakh followers on Instagram.

'I take outdated clothes and turn it into new' reads the bio of Sarah Tyau, a Utah-based blogger and fashion designer.

Sarah is a mother of three and often works from home.

She has over 2 lakh followers on Instagram where she posts pictures of her work, talks about her kids and shares interesting parenting advice.

In 2007, she started the blog 'Our life is beautiful' where she started writing about the positive experiences in her life to inspire other stay-at-home mums.

In 2010, Sarah took to sewing so she could refashion her old clothes rather than buying new ones.

Check out some pictures of her work:

Here she's turned a four-year-old trouser into a dress. 'The bib is detachable so I could wear it as a plain pencil skirt too,' Tyau added.

See how she transformed an old oversized maxi dress into a cute fashionable midi.

This white oversized dress got trimmed to a structured smart looking dress. The bow adds to its beauty.

Sarah mostly plays with old, oversized dresses because she says it allows her more cloth to work on.

Not just for herself, she also refashions clothes for her daughter.

On her blog, Sarah shares DIY (do it yourself) hacks to turn old, unused and overused clothes into new interesting ensembles.

An old pantsuit is now a skirt with a detachable bib.

That's Sarah's family -- her husband, three children and a dog -- most of who also feature in her fashion experiments. Such a lucky family!
