Extramarital dating site Gleeden recently mapped the dating patterns of 20,000 of their women users for two months.

Between March and April 2021, profiles of women users were observed from all the major cities in the country.

Here are some interesting findings:

Women are more thorough when it comes to building their profiles, meaning they complete it and update it regularly.

On the other hand, they usually don't use profile pics which are uploaded in their private albums. Instead they share it with selected contacts only.

Also, women hardly make the first move in India. Rather they prefer to be contacted and then like to decide whether to answer it or not.

But if they are intrigued, they tend to carry on the conversation for a longer duration than men -- their conversation length is 2.5x times longer than men.

Women users mostly connect right before lunch (between 10.30 am and 11.30 am) and between 9 pm and 11 pm at night.

They are also quick to put any undesired profile in their blacklists, unlike men who simply ignore those.
