25 designers presented their work at the grand finale show of the 25th edition of the India Fashion Week.
Sorry Lakme Fashion Week, this one's impossible to top!
How does a fashion week celebrate its 25th birthday? By inviting 25 of the best designers in the country to showcase their work in… well… basically the mother of all fashion shows ever. Period.
The theme handed out to the designers was Crafts of India. And this is what they came up with

Rina Dhaka showed this breathtakingly beautiful sari.
And Monisha Jaising opted for western casuals.
Then there was this jumpsuit designed by Namrata Joshipura.
And the trademark Manish Malhotra lehnga.
JJ Valaya also showed two of his best bridal pieces.
While Gaurav Gupta went for the kill with this red carpet-ready gown.
We would love to meet the gent who can dare to carry this one off.
And we had to make special efforts to hold our jaws in place when we laid our eyes on this Rohit Bal design.
The other Rohit (Gandhi) and Rahul Khanna showed too.
As did Suneet Varma
And Ritu Kumar who returned to the runway after a long hiatus.
We couldn't take our eyes off this glorious Tarun Tahiliani dress.
But we kinda sorta loved Varun Bahl's number too.
Wendell's designs were ethereal, as always.
And Manish Arora's were… so… bright! #WeLike :-)
Abraham and Thakore opted to be minimalist.
And Amit Aggarwal's stunning gown (with that large lip where it should be) was such a tease.
Two thumbs up for Anamika Khanna, we say. Don't you agree?
And Anju Modi's embroidery was… well… whew!
Pankaj and Nidhi brought out their best in red.
As did Aneeth Arora's Pero
Rahul Misra floored us with his clean, simple silhouettes.
And Rajesh Pratap Singh basically blew our mind!
