These were the most influential fashion stars of 2017.
Global fashion search platform Lyst has released its 2017 The Year in Fashion roundup.
The platform, which had over 80 million users in the last 12 months, tracked over 100 million searches to compile the data.
Rihanna landed the No 1 spot on the list, with Selena Gomez coming in second and Bella Hadid in third.
1. Rihanna

According to the list, the most powerful celebrity influencer of the year is none other than Rihanna.
The singer's Gucci Logo T-shirt was one of the Insta cult fashion items of 2017.

According to the website, 'if Rihanna wore it, you wanted it'.
She sent searches soaring for Puma, Off-White, Molly Goddard and Gucci this year. Her Fenty Puma Bow Sneakers landed up being the most wanted kicks of 2017.
2. Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez came second on the list -- 'it's fair to say that the world is obsessed with her style'.
Her Instagram following of over 120 million helped push all the brands she wore through the year including Coach and Louis Vuitton, among others.
3. Bella Hadid

The Victoria's Secret model is the queen of risque on the red carpet -- her long legs sparked thousands of denim searches this year.
She has been garnering plenty of media attention all thanks to her racy outfits and that's probably why she landed herself in the No 3 spot.
4. Meghan Markle

After taking the world by storm with the announcement of her engagement with Prince Harry, actress Meghan Markle is now taking over the world of fashion with her impeccable dressing sense.
She scored the No 4 spot in the Influencers category -- one spot ahead of Kate Middleton on the list.
The site said, 'Meghan proved her royal style credentials this year, wearing heritage British brands Barbour, Hunter and Burberry.
'She also spiked searches for lesser-known labels like Misha Nonoo and Finlay and Co.'
5. Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge came in at No 5.
For the Duchess of Cambridge, Lyst noted that she 'continues to spark global demand for her looks -- this year, she caused dresses by Erdem, LK Bennett, Roland Mouret and Dolce and Gabbana to sell out in seconds.'
