Make way for trendy, glam outfits this Diwali.

A bit of fun... a bit of fashion.

This Diwali, jazz it up in style.

Make the festival of lights more glitzy and glamourous with fashionable ensembles and accessories.

Tista Sengupta/Rediff.com catches up with Tia Paranjape from StyleCracker.com who creates three different looks to make the festival even more sparkling.

Here's how to amp up your fashion quotient this Diwali.

Go Boho

There's so much that one can do by creatively mixing and matching different separates.

Keep the colour palette complementary - just like blue is contrasted with orange in this look.

Forever Feminine

Here's a modern twist to your traditional attire.

This look is sure to get you noticed.

Keep it Edgy

Dhoti pants is a dictating trend this year.

Quite chic and elegant!

Style Tips To Remember for Diwali

1. Avoid trailing outfits and bothersome bell bottom sleeves... and, extra-long dupattas are big NO too.

2. Don't overdo your make-up.

3. Highlight any one feature - statement lips or kohl-defined eyes should do the trick.

4. Go for snug footwear. Traditional options like Jootis or kohlapuri chappals are the best bet in this case.

5. If you're going for a saree, add one contemporary piece to it. That makes all the difference. For example: A gilded waistbelt or a long, sleeveless jacket.
