Nishi Bharadwaj will be representing India at the Miss Earth 2018 beauty pageant to be held in The Philippines.
An international environmental-themed beauty pageant, this year 90 contestants from across the world will compete for the title.
Delhi-based Nishi is a model by profession. She graduated from Bharati College.
Standing tall at 5'8", the 23-year-old was chosen to represent India in the beauty pageant after Miss India Earth 2018 Devika Vaid was injured and couldn't participate in the event.

When she is not modelling, Nishi loves to dance, paint and read. Her father is a businessman and her mom, a housewife.
'Smile... because it's the only thing that matters,' writes the beauty queen on her Instagram page. 'Never give up on your dreams,' she adds.
After getting a chance to represent India, Nishi thanked everyone for their support as well as a chance to represent India.
'I can't express the feeling of representing my country (hub of diverse cultures and people) at this huge platform,' she said.
'With this opportunity comes huge responsibility. I'll give my best to make India proud. Thank you for all your wishes.'
'Do what you love and love what you do,' says Nishi, who has followed her passion and is now a role model for many young women.
'I am really excited that we are switching to eco-friendly alternatives even in our religious beliefs,' says Nishi who has been working towards keeping the environment clean.
According to her, 'Cleanliness is most important for physical well-being and a healthy environment.' Nishi urged people to embrace an eco-friendly Ganesha celebrations by saying no to chemicals and yes to nature.
'It (cleanliness) has bearing on public and personal hygiene.
'It is essential for everyone to learn about cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation and the various diseases that are caused due to poor hygienic conditions,' she explains.
