Miss Philippines wins Miss Universe 2015 after shocking ending

Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach takes the crown this year.

All good things must come to an end.

The year's most-awaited beauty pageant, Miss Universe 2015 ended on Sunday, December 20 in Las Vegas but after one of the most shocking finales!

When the time came for the winner to be announced, host Steve Harvey wrongly announced Miss Columbia as the winner!

However, it was Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach (pictured above) who won the Miss Universe 2015.

Harvey soon corrected his mistake and the crown was removed from Miss Columbia and given to Miss Philippines. 

Incidentally, Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez (pictured below) is the first runner up and Miss USA Olivia Jordan is the second runner-up.

Steve Harvey was joined by actor Roselyn Sanchez who co-hosted the event.

The pageant this year was judged by Emmitt Smith, Niecy Nash, Olivia Culpo, and Perez Hilton.

Miss India Urvashi Rautela failed to make it to top 15 semi-finals round.
