Miss India 2017: Meet the hopefuls

We're back... Round Two of the line up of Miss India 2017 contestants.

Presenting another round of contestants who will compete for the Miss India title at the grand finale to be held in Mumbai on Sunday, June 25.

Kaheli Chophy, Nagaland

Kaheli, 24, a student loves to sing. She's known to be a good Samaritan and was the face of a Clean Election Campaign in Nagaland.  

 

Christeena Biju, Odisha

Clad in a handloom sari from Odisha, which was draped interestingly, Christeena cut an impressive figure on stage. A student, her interests include swimming and modelling.

 

Navpreet Kaur, Punjab and Sana Dua, Jammu and Kashmir

Navpreet made sure that she brought out the vibrance and colours of Punjab through her look. She studied at Kanya Maha Vidhyalaya, Jalandhar.

Sana kept is simple yet traditional. A lawyer by profession, her favourite sport is tennis. 

 

Aditi Hundia, Rajasthan

Aditi didn't falter when presenting Rajasthan and its hues of red, blue and yellow. She comes from a traditional Jain family and is a huge cricket fan.

 

Roshni Ghimirey, Sikkim

Roshni's outfit reflected the beauty of Sikkim. In an interview she revealed that if 'she wasn't a beauty queen, she would probably be a doctor.'

 

Simran Choudhary, Telangana

Simran is an actor by profession and a trained dancer. She's got a zillion interests including dancing (Contemporary, Kuchipudi and Freestyle), playing basketball, horse riding and watching TV. 

Sherlin Seth, Tamil Nadu

Sherlin combined the traditional outfits of Gujarat and Tamil Nadu to come up with this look.
A professional model, she has studied at Carmel Convent in Jammu.

 

Rinky Chakma, Tripura

A student of Eklavya Model Residential School, Rinki loves to sing and dance. 

 

Anukriti Gusain, Uttarakhand

Anukriti used the occasion to send across a social message.
After completing her schooling from Army Public School, Lansdowne she pursued engineering in computer science from Dehradun Institute of Technology. 

 

Shefali Sood, Uttar Pradesh

Shefali embraced the culture of UP and charmed the audience in a peach embroidered lehenga. She likes to paint and is well-travelled. She's visited 20 countries already. 

 

Shivankita Dixit, West Bengal

Shivankita is a student and has played basketball at the state level. She is extremely fond of animals, especially dogs.
