You'll never look at lingerie models in the same way again!

Meet Mercy Brewer a 57-year-old lingerie model who can give some of the seasoned Victoria's Secret models a run for their money.

In an industry where the focus in on young, thin models, Mercy is hoping to 'grow people's visual vocabulary'.

Mercy, who has been modelling since the 1980s, has a new goal in mind: to challenge people's obsession with youth, ageing and body image.

In the past, she has walked the ramp at various fashion weeks including Milan, Paris and New York.

However, it was her 2017 campaign for Lonely Lingerie that made people sit up and take note of her work.

Based in New Zealand, it was the first time she has modelled for a lingerie brand.

'It's the things you don't do that you regret at the end of your life, so I dived in,' Mercy said in an interview citing the reason she did the campaign.

Take a look at some of her stunning pix!

After a 20 year break, Mercy Brewer started modelling in 2014 again.

The Lonely Lingerie campaign was shot a week before her 57th birthday.

She has brushed shoulders with supermodels like Naomi Campbell on the runway in the 80s and 90s.

Now she's challenging people's perception of what a lingerie model should look like!

Her photos have been printed with minimal retouching.
