Designer Deepa Goel talks about her showstopping outfit at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020.

Designer Deepa Goel showcased her festive/bridal collection on Day Five of the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai.

Actor Rhea Chakraborty's outfit was a part of the designer's 'The Ethereal Ira' collection which was inspired by Goddess Saraswati. 

In an exclusive chat with Rediff.com's Kshamaya Daniel ahead of the show, the designer revealed the inspiration behind her collection and how she put together the bridal outfit.

IMAGE: Rhea walked the ramp in a pink tierred lehenga with an off shoulder choli.

IMAGE: The skirt was part of the designer's collection titled 'The Ethereal Ira'. Ira, in Sanskrit is synonymous to Goddess Sarawasti.

IMAGE: The fabrics were dyed in hues of red and pink, ivory and lilac and featured heavy embroidery and tikki work.
