When Bollywood's favourite designer showcased his first ever menswear collection at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week, he entrusted Ranbir Kapoor with showstopping duties, with, wait for it, a velvet suit!

Look at all the models hanging out with RK like it was no big deal.

Titled The Gentleman's Club, the collection blended western silhouettes with Indian designs to create a festive look.

Botanical motifs, like the one above, were a prominent part of the collection.

There was something for the ladies too!

Here's model Surelee Joseph in a floor-length pleated skirt.

And how can an Indian festive collection be possibly complete without bling?

These sequinned numbers stood out.
