For his latest collection, designer Narendra Kumar combined Art Deco influences with fusion Indian wear.

He zeroed in on the lushest fabrics like taffetas, silks, velvets and timeless rich Indian textiles.

Embellishments were at the forefront, as rich embroidery in shades of forest green, blue and red glittered on the runway.

The makeup artists behind the showcase kept the look character driven, bold and strong.

They said they were inspired by the Oscars Red Carpet.

It resulted in a glamorous collection aimed at the strong-willed women of our times.
