Designed by Anita Dongre, the sherwani is made out of handwoven silk from Murshidabad, West Bengal.
For her engagements on Day Two of her India visit, US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka chose an off-white sherwani by Indian designer Anita Dongre.
The sherwani is made out of handwoven silk from Murshidabad and Ivanka paired it with matching trousers and white buckled flats.
Commenting about the look, designer Anita Dongre said: "Ivanka is wearing a sherwani made out of handwoven silk from Murshidabad, West Bengal. It is timeless and such a classic."
"We created this style 20 years ago and it's amazing to see how beautifully relevant it is even today," she added.
On Day One, Ivanka recycled a $1,690 (approximately ₹1,21,431) floral dress from her Argentina tour in September 2019.
The pale blue Proenza Schouler dress featured short-sleeves, a bow-tie detail at the neck and red floral details in an abstract pattern.
She paired the dress with bold red pumps and centre-parted hair.
