June 27, 2017

The Beti fashion show unites celebs to educate and empower the girl child.

Every year, entrepreneur Anu Ranjan hosts a fashion show to raise funds for the cause of girl children in India.

The proceeds from 'Beti Movement' go towards empowering girls to pursue their education and fight atrocities like acid attacks and rape.

The show held on June 25 at JW Mariott in Mumbai was attended by B-town celebrities, singers, performers and more.

The models sashayed down the ramp in elaborate lehengas styled by Vikram Phadnis.

The men showed swag in traditional couture.

Actor performer Aditya Narayan jazzed up his black kurta with silver accessories.

Shankar Mahadevan was at his traditional best.

VJ Mallishka made an entry in a cream and brown lehenga.

Embellished lehengas like these made a fine impression.

Karishma Tanna looked like a princess in this pastel lehenga.

Ragini Khanna wowed in a peach creation.

Anita Kumar modeled a sari worn over a kurta.

One can never go wrong with an embellished jacket like this.

Designer and stylist Vikram Phadnis promoted his debut Marathi film Hrudyantar with the star cast at the show.
